I'm a
Vivien Ericca I. Hermoso recently graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, magna cum laude, from Mapúa Malayan Colleges Laguna in October 2024. She has focused on front-end and mobile development, with a keen interest in software Quality Assurance (QA).
Vivien gained significant experience in mobile development through her work on key projects, including iOS development for Mapúa MCL's digital passport scanner for iPad and Android development for e-ganapp.
She has consistently demonstrated academic excellence as a Dean’s Lister and was recognized as a President’s Lister for A.Y. 2022-2023. Vivien has served as the Publication Committee Chair of Mapúa MCL-ACM, Vice President for Audit and Internal Relations Associate of Mapúa MCL-SSC, 4th Year Representative of JPCS Mapúa MCL, and SSC Representative of Mapúa MCL-CCIS SC.
Through her academic and extracurricular efforts, Vivien has shown a strong commitment to her field and community.

A Seamless Event Management System for Mapúa MCL.

Collaborated with a team for our thesis project. The system is available on both the web and Android mobile platforms, built using PHP, JavaScript, React Native, and cPanel. My contributions focused on the mobile application's development.

Mapúa MCL-ACM Mobile Application, a specialized platform developed for members of Mapúa Malayan Colleges Laguna - Association for Computing Machinery (Mapúa MCL-ACM). The application facilitates attendance tracking, contribution management, and announcement dissemination within the organization. I contributed to the prototype and UI/UX design of the app.

We developed a Digital Passport Scanner for iPads for Mapúa MCL FEST. My main focus was on the UI/UX, utilizing SwiftUI, and implementing Core Data for the database. The project was led by James Paz, who was also responsible for creating the Digital Passport Generator.

Know the Disease is a mobile application that provides information on common diseases in the Philippines, including symptoms, prevention methods, and causes. The app also features a true or false quiz to test users' understanding of the information presented. Developed during the start of the COVID-19 lockdown, this app aims to educate and inform users about important health topics.
